Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon has revealed she plans to marry her longterm girlfriend Christine Marinoni.

The actress - who plays Miranda Hobbes in the hit series and upcoming film - says she will tie the knot as soon as New York authorities recognise same-sex marriages.

She said, “If it becomes legal I think we would.

“It’s something my girlfriend is interested in and it was not something my boyfriend ever was.
