A 58-year-old Gretna man is arrested after allegedly soliciting sex online from an undercover police officer posing as a teenage girl.

Lincoln Police Capt. Dennis Duckworth said police believe the man drove to Lincoln Friday to meet a person he believed was a 15-year-old girl he'd met in an online chat room.

The two arranged to meet in Lincoln after chatting for several days.

Duckworth said the person waiting for the man at a prearranged meeting point was actually an undercover police officer.

The man was arrested for using a computer to entice a child, a Class 3 felony.
