A 13-year-old boy has been subjected to a sex attack in public toilets in East Yorkshire.

Officers said the teenager was with two friends aged 10 and eight near a subway in Boothferry Road, Goole, when they were approached by a man.

After asking them to go into toilets in Estcourt Street, he entered a cubical with the 13-year-old and sexually assaulted him.

Police have stepped up patrols in the area following the attack.

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said specially trained officers had spoken to all three boys about the attack.

The attacker is described as in his 20s, slim, with dark, wavy hair. He was wearing a blue and grey striped t-shirt with jeans and shoes similar to sneakers.

He was also described as having a "squashed nose and pixie-like ears", the spokeswoman said.
