Man Gets Home Detention After Internet Sex Sting

Aug 7, 2007

A man who pleaded guilty to trying to solicit sex from someone he thought was a child on the Internet was sentenced Tuesday to two years of home detention.

A judge also ordered Richard A. Lucas, who pleaded guilty last month to a felony count of child solicitation, to serve two years of probation.

Authorities said Lucas was arrested during an Internet sting conducted by the Marion County prosecutor's office.
